General description
The 'Subject To Change' electronic press kit was provided together with the videos of 'Destiny' and 'White Bird' on a bonus vcd to the Asian release of the album 'Subject To Change.' The short documentary last for about 8 to 9 minutes and is very informative. The movie shows Vanessa-Mae talking on her new music and album, on the changes in her life and her view on her career, as well as playing with her dog in the studio.  Parts of the video clips for 'Destiny' and 'White Bird' are shown together with short fragments of several of her other clips. Moreover, Vanessa-Mae is shown at various occasion during her career so far.

Details on what Vanessa-Mae has to tell
During the interview, Vanessa-Mae tells about why she felt she needed a change in her music and life. The new album 'Subject To Change' in a way reflects the changes in her life that she implemented. As an example, she tells on the professional separation from her mother as her manager with the reasoning that she needed a change after working so closely together for about 10 years, and because she felt her mother would not be able to cope with her new music. Vanessa-Mae tells about really signing on this album for the first time. Also, she shows her new acrylic violin that she describes as a fantastic instrument for recording and for using a shows because it looks great and really contemporary and modern. She emphasises nevertheless that she will go on using her acoustic instrument and fusion electric violin for performing life at her concerts.

Info on 'what is seen' in the movie
Below are captures from various parts of the movie (click to see larger images) shown in order to provide an impression on the contents. Remarkable in the movie is the number of scenes that show close-ups of Vanessa-Mae's face and Vanessa-Mae receiving her make-up. Obviously it is the intention to show how much care is invested in making her looks perfect.

Especially nice and entertaining in the movie are the scenes when Vanessa-Mae is playing in the studio with her young puppy dog Gaspard. These shots were made during breaks and after the shooting of the video clip for 'Destiny.'

During the interview, Vanessa-Mae was dressed in a nice white low cut V-necked sleeveless T-shirt with a red butterfly print design. Also she is shown talking in her dressing room wearing a grey jogging shirt.
